Minnesota Murder Suspect Arrested in Waterloo

A man wanted for Murder in Minnesota was taken into custody in Waterloo on Friday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 30 year old Franklin Spriggs was suspected of being one of four assailants in a robbery gone wrong in St. Paul on August 20th. A prostitute alerted the suspects that the customer she was with at a hotel could be robbed. The suspects blocked in the car of the victim, 37 year old Alexander Christoff of White Bear Lake. Christoff then rammed one of the cars. A suspect then opened fire, killing Christoff. Marshals in Iowa set up surveillance on a home in the 700 block of Denver Street on Friday when they saw him leave around noon. He was taken into custody shortly there after. He was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail where he is awaiting extradition.
