A Charles City woman and a Mechanicsville man are in custody in South Carolina after throwing a Molotov cocktail in a motel parking lot, according to KIMT. 33 year old Ashley Konen and 32 year old Jonathan Jordan are both facing an arson charge after the heaved a the homemade explosive at the White Sands Motel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The fire it started did not injure anyone and did not cause any damage. The two were apprehended about six hours later and nearly 175 miles away. They are being held on $100,000 bond.
