Waterloo Police confirmed that at 6:00 a.m. Monday, a Waterloo woman and her three children all escaped injury when their house was hit by gunfire. Police arrived on scene and discovered several bullet holes on the east side of the house at 307 Kern. The woman and her three children were all inside the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured. Police said they currently have no suspects in the case, but an investigation is underway.
