Monday COVID-19 Numbers

Governor Kim Reynolds updated the COVID-19 numbers again Monday. She announced 349 new cases bring the statewide total to 5,868. 9 new deaths were reported for a total of 127 now. 2,021 people have recovered so far. 1 in every 82 Iowans have been tested to this point. Bremer County has now had 45 cases with three deaths. Those three have all been elderly people. Butler County now has 8 total cases, Chickasaw has 4, and Fayette has seen 16 cases. Black Hawk County has released numbers that are even more up to date than what the state is reporting. They have had 1346 cases as well as 11 deaths. That is the most cases in any county in the state.
