One person was hospitalized after a collision between a moped and a van Monday afternoon in Cedar Falls. Police were called to the intersection of W. 5th and Clay streets shortly after 3:30 p.m. An initial investigation found that the moped was traveling east on W. 5th Street while the van was headed north on Clay Street when they collided. The driver of the moped was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
