Most of the results from the Democratic Caucus on Monday night have finally been released. With 71% of the precincts reporting Pete Buttigieg took home the highest percentage of delegates with 27%. He was followed by Bernie Sanders with 25%, Elizabeth Warren with 18%, Joe Biden with 15%, and Amy Klobuchar with 13%.
In Bremer County Buttigieg won 34% of the delegates with Warren in second with 22%. In Butler County it was Sanders topping the leaderboard with 25% of the delegates with Joe Biden getting 20% in second place. In Black Hawk County it was Sanders coming away with 32% of the delegates. Buttigieg followed him with 24%.
The release of some of the data has not stopped complaints about the process from caucus goers, workers, and candidates however. Some have called to scrap the results entirely. Most of the candidates have moved on to the next state in the process, New Hampshire. The primary there will take place on Tuesday, February 11th.
