Police in Waterloo were called five different times from Saturday night into Sunday morning on reports of shots fired, according to KWWL. Two of those occasions turned up nothing while damage and shell casings were found at the other three. The first call came in around 11:00 p.m. That shooting took place in the 1900 block of City View Street. Witnesses told police a man was firing shots from the street before fleeing in a vehicle. Two houses were hit by the gunfire with one bullet going through a wall and damaging a television. A mailbox was hit by gunfire 10 minutes later in the 1100 block of Leavitt Street. Finally a man reportedly was shooting at a female around 2:00 a.m. but no injuries or arrests were reported. That investigation is still ongoing at this time.
