Williams and his brother, Ralpheal Williams, allegedly endeavored to rob a drug stash house but turned their attention to Hemenway who was working on a motorcycle. Robert Williams ex girlfriend Ana Berinobis-McLemore was charged with helping to plan the crime. She testified against Ralpheal Williams’ at his robbery trial. Williams was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Then, in May Berinobis-McLemore was killed as she sat in a car. Robert Williams’ lawyers say that they cannot cross examine Berinobis-McLemore, so the prosecution should not be allowed to use her testimony from the previous trial. Nobody has been arrested in the Berinobis-McLemore killing to this point.
