The Black Hawk County Road Department is kicking off its second annual “Name a Snowplow Contest”. Three of the county’s 22 plows will be named this year. The contest is open until the end of the month. Visit blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov/214/road-department or the department’s Facebook page to vote. Last year’s winners were: Alice Scooper, Scoop Dogg and Darth Blader.
