The Black Hawk County Road Department has announced their winners for their Name a BHC Snowplow Contest. The department held the competition to name three of their snowplows in which they received 200 submissions and over 1,500 votes for winners. The winners are Scoop Dogg submitted by Aaron Reinke, Alice Scooper submitted by Lori Klingfus, and Darth Blader submitted by Annie Kappelman. The BHC Road Department operates 16 plow trucks for paved roads and nine motor graders for gravel roads.
