The name of the man killed after being struck by an SUV while crossing a road in Waterloo in his motorized wheelchair has been released. 31 year old Tyler Greene died Wednesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. He was airlifted there after being hit by the vehicle on Monday afternoon. The woman who was driving the SUV told police the sun was in her eyes and she didn’t see Greene until it was too late. Greene, who had cerebral palsy, was an advocate for ability awareness and inclusion.
