Firefighters in Nashua pulled a 7 year old girl to safety after she was trapped in her home by fire. The Nashua Volunteer Fire Department was called to a home around 9:30 Wednesday night. When they arrived they were informed that 7 year old Janie Brymer was still inside. A firefighter was able to find Brymer as she had couched close to the ground near a door. Brymer was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She remains there as she recovers. If you would like to help the family, they are looking for donations of 8/10 girls clothes, 5/6 boys clothes, 4T boys clothes, blankets, pillows, boys backpacks, dressers, beds, toys, and groceries. Donations can be dropped off at Nashua City Hall.
