Nashua Man Sent to Prison

A Nashua man has been sentenced after his dog led law enforcement to him in a burglary case, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 56 year old Bradley Mohring has been given a year in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Police investigating a break in at the Five Star Co-Op back in October of last year noticed a dog on the security footage that belonged to Mohring. That led police to search Mohring’s apartment where they found a .22 caliber Remington Field Master rifle as well ammo for the gun and for a 9 mm gun. Mohring was barred from possessing firearms thanks to a 1992 felony drug conviction in Colorado.
