A new member of the Wartburg Board of Regents has been named according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Ann Bullock will serve on the board until May 31st when she will be up for re-election to a three year term. She was the Dean of the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education at Elon University prior to this appointment. She was also the director of teacher education and a professor of education. She was also the secretary of the North Carolina Professional Educators Commission and co-chair of the licensure committee for the North Carolina Professional Educator Preparation and Standards Commission. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and intermediate Education from Appalachian State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from New Mexico State, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Service Leadership from VCU.
