A brand new coffee shop in Waterloo was robbed over the weekend. The owner of the Savvy Bean posted on Facebook that they were robbed after being open for just one week. Sometime between Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and Monday 6:00 a.m. someone took hundreds of dollars. The owner says the most likely time frame would be between 4pm on Saturday and 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Waterloo Police. The Savvy Bean is offering a $100 gift card to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
