The City of Waverly is reminding citizens about their fireworks code. Fireworks are legal to set off from Tuesday at noon until 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Those discharging fireworks still need to be 18 years old and cannot be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or narcotics. Fireworks can only be set off on land owned by those using the fireworks or land in which they have consent to use for fireworks.
