The New Year’s Holiday will slightly upset the garbage and recycling pickup in Waverly. City of Waverly offices including the Recycling Center will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st for the New Year’s Holiday. There will be no garbage pickup on that day. Wednesday’s garbage will be picked up on Thursday. Citizens are asked to have their carts to the curb by 7am on their pickup day. That is also the case in Plainfield. Garbage and recycling that normally would be picked up on Wednesday, January 1st will be picked up on Thursday, January 2nd.
