The North Butler and Rockford School Districts will hold a joint work session to discuss potential opportunities for future collaborations on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. Topics for discussion include athletic sharing opportunities, shared academic courses, shared instructional staff, which district would serve as the host district, per diem or tuition arrangements when students attend courses at the other district, possible whole grade sharing opportunities in the future, and a review of “current staffing realities.” No decisions will be made during the meeting, it will simply be an open conversation. The school districts say that as conversations progress they will share updates with and will involve the public.
