A Waterloo man who was formerly a manager at a convenience store in Hampton has been found not guilty of embezzlement, according to KIMT. 38 year old Ronald Nichols was charged with 2nd degree theft after failing to deposit over $2,614 from a day’s proceeds at the Git-N-Go in Hampton in 2019. Nichols pleaded not guilty to the charge and after a one day trial the jury deliberated for just 21 minutes before returning a not guilty verdict.
