An Oelwein man has been arrested after being found allegedly driving drunk with three children in the vehicle in Maynard. A Fayette County Deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 34 year old Sergio Valdez on Main Street in Maynard around 9:20 p.m. on Sunday. During the traffic stop the deputy determined Valdez was intoxicated. He was charged with OWI first offense, Driving While Suspended, and three counts of Child Endangerment. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail. The children were picked up by a family member.
