An Oelwein man has been sentenced for sexually abusing a child in Minnesota on more than one occasion, according to KIMT. 42 year old Charles Jones was sentenced to five years in prison with credit for 115 days already served after pleading guilty to one count of second degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. He also will be on supervised release after his prison stay for 99 years. Jones sexually abused a child in Mower County, Minnesota several times in April of 2018. After his trial was delayed multiple times, Jones entered an Alford Plea, meaning he does not admit guilt but does admit there is enough evidence for a conviction.
