One man is dead following an officer involved shooting in Waterloo Monday, according to KWWL. Police were initially called to a report of shots fired in the area of Kuennen’s Automotive Clinic in the 2700 block of Falls Avenue around 2:45 p.m. That led to an officer shooting and killing a man in the 1200 block of Hartman Avenue. No other details have been released to this point. Neither the officer nor the man killed have been named. The officer has been placed on critical incident leave, as is protocol. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
