Deputies say a check on a man on their sex offender registry has led to a search for him.
On Thursday, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office went to check on 31-year-old Cory Hursey at Oelwein, but he was no longer living at his registry address.
Because of this, Hursey now faces charges of failure to comply with the sex offender registry.
There’s now a warrant out for his arrest with a bond of $5,000.
