All City of Waverly offices, including the Recycling Center, will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday’s garbage and curbside recycling will be picked up Wednesday. Friday’s garbage and curbside recycling will be picked up on Monday. Garbage collection has been altered in a couple other area towns as well. In Sumner, Thursday’s garbage will be picked up today instead. But, in Janesville, trash and recycling pickup will be on Friday. They ask citizens to have their totes to the curb the night prior.
