A shooting in Waterloo over the weekend left one person dead, according to KWWL. Police responded to a call in the 200 block of Madison Street around 6 Saturday night. There they found two victims with gunshot wounds. Those victims were taken to Allen Hospital. Later, there was a call of shots fired at the hospital, possibly related to the earlier shooting. That call turned out to be a false alarm but it did put the hospital on lock down for a short time. Despite treatment one of the two victims succumbed to their injuries yesterday. The other victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
