The original Other Place on College Hill in Cedar Falls has permanently closed. The OP on College Hill had been open for 50 years but in a Facebook Post the restaurant noted that COVID had made things tough on them the last couple years and it was too much to continue. They also encouraged patrons to visit their other locations in the Cedar Valley, which includes the one here in Waverly. The OP College Hill closure was effective yesterday.
