An Oelwein man has been arrested after putting his vehicle in the ditch early Saturday morning. Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene near the intersection of Neon Road and 18th Street. After an investigation they determined that 22 year old Dillon Schweer was intentionally driving in an erratic manner and slid into the ditch. Schweer was charged with Careless Driving and Operating While Intoxicated-first offense. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail.
