A Parkersburg teenager has been arrested for allegedly breaking into several vehicles in Cedar Falls back in April, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 18 year old John Martin Jr. was arrested on Wednesday and charged with three counts of burglary to a vehicle and one count of third degree burglary. Police contacted Martin on the morning of April 27th after he abruptly jumped off the bicycle he was riding and ran when he saw the officers. He was detained on charges of interference before being released. An investigation found that bike had been stolen from a garage on Walnut Street. The investigation also found that Martin had stolen a wallet, makeup bag, cash, AirPods, a laptop, and an expired credit card from vehicles on Barbara Drive, Pearl Street, and West Fourth Street. They also found a .22 caliber rifle and a bow that had been taken out of the garage and hidden in a nearby location. Bond has been set at $12,500 for Martin.
