Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley, a Republican from New Hartford, has announced that he has filed for re-election in Iowa House District 57. Grassley has served in the Iowa House since 2006 and has been the Speaker since 2019. He is the grandson of Senator Chuck Grassley. In addition to New Hartford, House District 57 includes Waverly, Shell Rock, Denver, Plainfield, Clarksville, Allison, Greene, Dumont, Bristow, Aplington, Parkersburg, and a portion of Janesville.
