Waterloo Police have identified two persons of interest in a shooting in May that killed 23 year old Dayton Matlock, according to KWWL. Police believe that 25 year old Marcus Sykes and 23 year old Shireca Wilson are hiding together in the Des Moines area. Matlock was shot and killed in an alley along Grant Ave and Hammond Ave in Waterloo on May 15th. Two others were also shot and suffered non life threatening injuries. Sykes has a warrant out for his arrest for Felon in Possession of a Firearm while Wilson is wanted for a Probation Violation, 2nd degree Burglary, and Willful Injury. If you have any information on their whereabouts you are asked to contact police.
