The City of Waverly has announced what Phase 3 of the 4th Street SW closure will look like. Phase 3 will feature tree removal between 3rd Avenue SW and 7th Avenue SW. That work is set to begin on Monday. Road closures will be utilized during the workday and will be limited to one or two blocks at a time. Phase 2 is ongoing with paving in the section by Burger King expected to be completed the week of July 27th or the following week. Phase 3 will also include the replacement of water mains, sewer mains, storm sewer and a box culvert. That work is expected to be completed in November.
