Cedar Falls Police have made an arrest after a vehicle chase Wednesday night. An officer attempted to pull over a vehicle in the area of Main Street and University Avenue just before midnight. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as 29 year old Shawn Drinnon Jr., refused to pull over. The chase continued through residential streets and highways before coming to a close at 2216 Lincoln Street. Drinnon was charged with Eluding , Interference with Official Acts, and Driving While License Suspended. He also had a warrant out for his arrest for Voluntary Absence from Custody and five counts of Violation of Probation.
