The public is invited to meet the candidates for Chief of Police in Cedar Falls Tuesday and Wednesday. Jeff Sitzmann will be available Tuesday with Mark Howard available on Wednesday. Both events will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Public Safety Building located on South Main Street. Each candidate will discuss questions and issues. The Director of Public Safety is expected to make a recommendation for the position to the Mayor and the City Administrator at the end of October.
