Police in Waterloo are investigating a mugging that happened early Monday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A man says two men attacked him, hitting him with a blunt object and taking his cell phone as he walked in the area of West Mullan Avenue and South Street. The man was able to go to a nearby convenience store where paramedics were called. The victim was taken to MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. No arrests have been made to this point.
