Police Led on Snowmobile Chase

One man was arrested on Sunday after leading Waterloo police on a chase on a snowmobile, according to KWWL. Police were initially called to what seemed to be a traffic accident in the area of 9th street and Williston Avenue. When they arrived they found three snowmobiles on the sidewalk. All three immediately took off once they saw the police. 36 year old Daniel Duben Jr was caught. He was charged with eluding and driving while suspended. The other two riders were able to escape. The case remains under investigation. Authorities are reminding residents that riding snowmobiles on the streets, parks and bike trails is prohibited.
