Police Need Help Finding Fireworks Attacker

Waterloo Police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect they say attacked people with fireworks on July 4th, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say the individual threw fireworks into an occupied vehilce in the area of West Third and Baltimore Streets. The explosion injured the driver and damaged the vehicle. The suspect then allegedly tried to hit other people in the area with fireworks. Police say the assailant is a light-skinned male who was wearing a ski mask and purple pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterloo Police or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers.
