A Florida man is facing up to 10 years in prison for causing a crash in Bremer County that killed a man, according to KCRG. 23 year old Carter Harris was traveling eastbound on C33 in February when police say he failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle driven by Derrius Taylor-Ly of Altoona, who was traveling northbound on V56. A collision at highway speeds ensued, killing Taylor-Ly. During an interview at the hospital Harris allegedly admitted fault for collision alluding to the fact he was using his phone. A search warrant of his phone determined he was streaming a wrestling match at the time of the crash. Harris has been charged with Homicide by Vehicle- Reckless Driving.
