A Waterloo man is headed to prison after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a sawed off shotgun, according to KCRG. 56 year old Richard Jacobson was given 115 months in prison with a three year term of supervised release once he gets out. Jacobson was accused of repeatedly cocking the weapon as he threatened to shoot at least one other person. Jacobson was also high on methamphetamine at the time. He has previously been convicted of 14 felonies including multiple burglary convictions, unlawful possession of dangerous weapons, and other violent crimes.
