A woman who set her boyfriend on fire has been sentenced to probation, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 50 year old Kimberly Epps was sentenced to concurrent sentences of two to five years of probation after pleading guilty to Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury and Domestic Abuse Causing Bodily Injury. Police say Epps got into an argument with her boyfriend Demetrice Martin in the early morning hours of May 14th. During the argument she poured rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer on Martin and ignited it with a lighter. Martin suffered second degree burns to up to 15% of his body. In court, Martin argued for probation for Epps and for the judge to lift the restraining order between the two so they could be together. However, the judge kept the restraining order in place and told the couple to move on from one another.
