According to the Waverly Newspapers, the Waverly-Shell Rock School Board has received another bid for an elementary building. Inspired Life, in partnership with Waterloo Christian School, wants to buy Carey or West Cedar in order to start a Christian school. The bid is $70,000. The school plans to have 100-200 students K-8 and around 30 preschoolers. The board can sell to whomever they want and does not have to take the highest bid.
