The Hampton man arrested for leaving racist flyers at Hispanic owned businesses has been charged with doing something similar at the Cedar Falls Library. On August 13th Cedar Falls Police were called to the library after staff found the flyers on shelves and in a book written in Spanish. The flyers were made to resemble a hunting license and read, in part, “Illegal Immigrant Hunting Permit. No Bag Limit. Tagging Not Required. Trump 2024. Police believe 38 year old Daniel Embree designed and photocopied the flyers. He was charged with 3rd degree Harassment. In the Hampton case he was charged with eight counts of 2nd degree Harassment and one count of Trespass With Intent to Commit a Hate Crime. The Iowa GOP has condemned the flyers.
