A repeat child sexual abuser has died in prison, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 65 year old Clarence Widner, of Waterloo, died of natural causes at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center on Thursday. Widner sexually abused girls under the age of 10 in 1985 and 1995. He was then sentenced to life in prison after he was found to be repeatedly abusing a 17 year old boy from 2018 to 2019 and failing to register as a sex offender.
