Rain continues to fall throughout the already saturated listening area. That of course leads to swelling rivers and potential flooding. The Cedar River in Cedar Falls is forecasted to rise to 92.9 feet on Friday afternoon, that is nearly 5 feat above Flood Stage. That is enough to cover Grant and Horty Streets along with Lincoln Street west of Independence Avenue. Tourist Park will also be flooded. In Waterloo the river is forecasted to rise to 16.7 feet on Friday afternoon, that is nearly 4 feet above Flood Stage.
