Sunday afternoon at 4:40 Cedar Falls Public Safety Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft in progress at Fleet Farm. Officers arrived in the area and attempted to make contact with the suspect who drove off in a truck, which had been reported stolen out of Waterloo. The suspect did not stop for officers and led officers on a pursuit into Grundy County before finally coming to a stop. Officers took the driver, who was the sole occupant, into custody.
The driver was identified as Corrie Lynn Hall, 46. Hall is charged with a number of traffic offenses as well as: Eluding, 2nd degree theft and 2nd degree criminal mischief.
