The Sumner Fredericksburg Board of Education has named a new Superintendent. Kevin Seney is currently the high school principal at Grinnell- Newburg. He has served in that role since 2008. During that time he has developed a range of programs aimed at enhancing student achievement. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Education from Drake University, which he is expected to complete this month. Prior to moving to Grinnell, he was an associate principal and assistant principal at Chariton High School. Seney will officially take over at Sumner Fredericksburg on July 1st.
