John Deere is firing yet more employees, this time salaried employees, according to KWWL. The company plans to hold a meeting on July 24th to announce the layoffs. Salaried employees who are not required to work onsite are being asked to work from home from July 24th through the 26th and to postpone any business travel. It is still unknown how many employees will be let go. There have now been several rounds of layoffs at John Deere this year. The company continues to point to market factors and a need to balance the workforce as to why the layoffs are happening.
