Iowa’s sales tax holiday is this weekend. Friday and tomorrow shoppers will avoid sales tax and local option sales tax on back to school items and clothing with a selling price under $100. Some items not included in the tax free holiday are jewelry and sports equipment. Shoppers are expected to save $4.6 million over the two day affair.
