Sawed Off Shotgun Lands Man in Prison

A Waterloo man has been sentenced to prison time after police found a sawed off shotgun in his cat’s food dish, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 30 year old Levi Miller is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms. Police called to a disturbance between Miller and his neighbor found the gun leaning against the wall with its butt in the food dish as the cat dined. Miller’s neighbors said he had pointed the gun at them and used racially charged language in an argument over Miller’s belongings being on the neighbor’s porch. Miller has prior convictions for meth and burglary.
