A mask mandate at Charles City schools has been lifted, according to KIMT. The school district says the three day rolling average of student illness absence is now below seven percent. The mandate had been in effect since January 31st of 2021. The school district does make clear students and staff are still welcome to wear face-coverings if they choose.
