Hansen Elementary and Holmes Junior High in Cedar Falls were briefly placed on lockdown Monday afternoon, according to KWWL. The schools share a parking lot and were put on lockdown after a situation nearby took place. It is unclear what that situation was. During this time, students who were outside came inside and all students stayed in the classroom they were in until the all clear was given a short time later.
